| After the trauma of having cut her finger, and following much terrified bawling, Vanaja sits alone, and draws a smiley - a tiny friend, all her own. In her right hand is a local version of a lollipop - made from brown sugar and tamarind, sweet and sour at the same time. She uses Katika - a black paste that is traditionally used to adorn the eyes, along with a tiny twig to make her artwork. | ||
